Movies Hitting The Cinemas On October 2016

People for whom entertainment stand for movies are the ones always keen for the new array of movies to be released. With the technological development, there is a change noticed in the plot and filming as well. Films nowadays come with a better image and audio quality, and this is what has probably attracted the most audience. Originality is the latest theme prevailing in Hollywood, and Hong Kong directors are not behind from keeping pace with this trend. Since the beginning of the year, they have offered you a myriad of realistic theme based movies and is again all set to come up with some more this season. The following collection has been prepared to give you some idea about the upcoming movies in Hong Kong-October 2016.

1. Prince (Release date 6th October 2016)

Prince is a corgi puppy who has been raised by a famous model from Hong Kong named Clara Baby and her partner Zhou. Zhou is a man who is rich but without a class i.e. a Chinese “Tu Hao.” They together walk the path of prosperity Rich and poor environments and during this journey, Prince comes across various ups and down and witnesses the living condition in Hong Kong. 


At a beauty content organized at a charity event, Zhou intentionally restrains Prince from winning the game and after he loses it and somehow lets down Clara Baby which eventually turns his life to hell from heaven. In a cold night, he was left alone in the streets hungry. Then he meets girl Zhong Jiaqi- A new immigrants. Jiaqi discovers Prince left lying down alone on the streets hungry and weak and takes him to the vet. Prince then was so grateful to her that he stayed with Jiaqi and went with her.

2. Snowden (Releasing on 6th October)

Upon unveiling the secret surveillance program of NSA, Edward J. Snowden simultaneously awakens the conscience of the world but unfortunately closes all doors to the betterment of his future- he gives up his career, his girlfriend, his family and everything also. The only way he can be safe is by fleeing. What happens then to him? Visit the cinemas on 6th October to unveil the story further.

3. The Beatles: Eight Days a Week (in cinemas on 13th October)

In February 1964, at Beatles’s performance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” about 73 million viewers turned up. This is what has never ever been witnessed in any pop music concert before and perhaps never again as the world was carried away by the raving adulation of these four lads hailing from Liverpool. The Beatles: Eight Days A Week is a record of the band’s musical journey through the world as well as contains some unseen footage of interviews with Ringo Starr, Sir Paul McCartney, and widows Olivia Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon.







4. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher returns back with his justice brand in this anticipated sequel- Jack Reacher: Never GO Back. The old investigation unit of Reacher is headed by Army Major Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders). However, she is somehow arrested for treachery. Jack knowing Susan to be innocent helps her to get out of the prison and unveil the truth hidden behind this serious government conspiracy so as to get their name out from this allegation and live a safe life. On his mission, he discovers a secret owing its origin to his past capable of changing his life. What happens then? Watch the film to know more.

5. Doctor Strange (Releasing on 27th October)

This story deals with the life of Doctor Stephen Strange who is a neurosurgeon. Doctor Strange after meeting with a terrible car accident happens to discover the secret behind the world of alternate dimensions and magic. To check out what follow, visit the cinema hall on 27th October. 







6. Night’s Tightrope (In cinemas on 27th October)

Yuki is in her grade 2 of High school.  During the summer vacation, she worked at the pediatric ward as a volunteer for she wanted to witness someone dying. Such a thought had stricken her mind when she heard the story from one of her friend who happened to see a dead friend’s body.

Yuki has a friend Atsuko who often bullied in her past because of her anxiety issues. She once worked as a volunteer at a nursing home hoping to earn courage on seeing a person dead. All these together made her come up with such an idea. To know more, you will have to watch the full movie.
